She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Biegert and Helene Bauer Biegert; her husband Neil; and her parents-in-law, Shelby and Ethel Palmer.

She is survived by : her children, Kathy Larson (Stuart) of Park Rapids, MN, Barbara Watschke (Keith) of Minneapolis, MN and John Palmer (Andee) of South Ogden, UT; her grandchildren, Erica Skoglund (Jeremy) of Bismarck, ND, Jennifer Shafer (Stephen) of Seattle, WA and Scott Palmer of Leland, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Biegert of Loretto and Zoe Ann Palmer of Spring Park, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, "shirt-tail" relations and friends.

Interment will be in the Salem Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Greenfield, MN, In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Salem Church or Greenfield Historical Society.

Cindy Pearson wrote a sympathy message

“Kathy, I'm so sorry for your loss. My memories are mostly around gathering at your house for brownies/girl scouts. Your mom was so upbeat and happy. My Mom and I went to see her when she moved and was she in the new maple plain building too? I just met her in the hall for a quick greeting. May the Lord bless all your memories until you meet again in perfect bodies! What a day of rejoicing that will be! Cindy Cole Pearson”
