She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mertz and Dora Mertz; her sister Marjorie Banks; and her grandsons, Cole and Charlie Clauson.

She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Carolyn McMurray (Mike) and Bob (Shari); and her grandchildren, Lindsey Lancette, Jack and Sophie Clauson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
