He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Juntunen and Minnie Juntunen; his wife Gertie; and his sisters, Marion Stierna (Herbert), Mildred Hanson (Peter) and Adeline Bergeson (Burnett).
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Merkle (Lyn), Carol Helke (John), Alrene Serfling (Steve), Dale Juntunen (Kari) and Jennifer Juntunen Fischer (Paul). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
