He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Thielges and Bertha Thielges (Dittberner); his former wife Maryann Thielges; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Thielges; and his siblings, Irene, Della Forsblad (Ray), Art Thielges (Carol), Rita Van De (Oscar), Donald Thielges (Marge), Luverne Thielges (Doris), Matt Thielges, Marie Stoks (Hank), Phyllis Livermore (Rex), Ralph Thielges, Alice and Jeanette Hennen (Jerry).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Nielsen; his son Timothy (Karlene); his stepgranddaughter Morgan (Andrew Pippen); his stepchildren, Julie Henriksen (Ray), Bob Nielsen (Kelly) and Jeff Nielsen (Tina); his sisters, Sister Janet Thielges and Lucille Welu (Dave); his sister-in-law Kathleen Thielges; Margot and Jack. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
