With solemn reverence, we commemorate Darlene Ann Wersal of Marshall, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on June 24, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Helget and Elizabeth "Elsie" Helget (Ludwig); her husband Leo Wersal; her son Bradley; and her siblings, Ken Helget, Joyce Krzmarzick, Deloris Alt and Elaine Flaig Pechtel.
She is survived by: her children, David Wersal of Cottonwood, Debbie Engler (Mike) of Marshall, Rick Wersal (Carrie), Randy Wersal (Carol) of Ivanhoe and Scott Wersal (Michelle) of Marshall; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Wersal of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (503 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258).
