David Wilfred Schroeder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Wilfred Schroeder of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Schroeder and Godelieva Schroeder (Dero); his wife Eldora Pechan; and his brothers, Don (Ellen) and Cy Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Dave (Marcia) of Marshall, Mike (Lil) of Marshall, Greg (Carla) of Elk River and Julieann (Michael McCarney) of Plymouth; his siblings, Walt Schroeder (Liz) of Marshall and Pat Lustfield of Pipestone; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Schroeder of Marshall, Carolyn Meiners of Marshall and Garnita Cross (Thomas II) of St. Francis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (503 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258).
