It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Carl Peterson of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dennis had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Dennis may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Vanessa; his sister Sandra Altman; and his close friend Kay Peterson (Sobek). He is survived by: his son Vaughn of Marshall; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Rave-Peterson (Jax Kettwig), Deondrea Johnson (Cody) and Dawson DeBell (Lynnzee Johnson); his great grandchildren, Carson, Brielle and Atlas; and his brother-in-law Mark Altman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258).
