She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Borneman and Lillian Borneman; her husband Donald "Doc" Young; her son John Stumm; her brother William Borneman; her son-in-law Stanford Nelson; her grandsons-in-law, Reid Fowler and Jeremy Paxton; her close friend Rodney Bennett; Steve Hagg.
She is survived by: her children, J. Michael Stumm (Mary Jean), Susan Moore Nelson, Mary Jarussi (James), Fred Stumm (Ruby), Kathleen Bettenhausen (Steven), Anne Holcomb (Jeff), Mark Stumm, Kimberley Delaney (Tom), Lisa Rogers (Mike) and Laura Taylor (Jeff); her sister Janet Buckli (Ron); Barbara Stumm. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (Marshall, MN). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (503 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church of Marshall.
