We announce the death of Harold Orville Mellenthin (Marshall, Minnesota), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 100. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mellenthin and Hattie Mellenthin; his wife Elaine; his siblings, Colleen Mellenthin, Arthur Mellenthin and Arlene Maloney; and his grandchildren, Joshua and Sara.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Mellenthin of Dubois, Wyoming, Jon Mellenthin (Pat) of Marshall, Polle Hauge of Marshall and Scott Mellenthin (Jane) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Jes Mellenthin (Andrea), Tara Plante (Shane), Cody Mellenthin (Mandy), Taylor Mellenthin (Chelsea), Claire Meyer (Dan) and Brady Mellenthin (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Mason, Kaleb, Lincoln, Chase, Talan, Piper, Tate, Josie, Max, August, Callahan and Nolan; his great great grandchild Rune; and his nephews, Mathew Mellenthin, Joe Mellenthin and Sean Maloney.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (Marshall, MN).
