She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Welu and Martha Welu (Louwagie); her son Daryl; her son-in-law Dale Ryks; and her siblings, Doris Thielges, Jean Mitchell and Edward Welu.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Laurie) of Porter, MN, Randy (Sussan) of Porter, Pauline Ryks of Willmar, MN and JoAnn Downing (Kevin) of Ivanhoe, MN; and her siblings, Kathleen Thielges of Canby, MN, David Welu (Lucy) of Cherry Valley, IL and Donald Welu (Cheryl) of Marshall, MN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
