She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Luverne, Florence Peters, Bill and Emma Southmayd; and her pet Secret.

She is survived by : her parents, Terry Peters and Dell Peters (Southmayd) of Britton, SD; her husband Craig Hart; her daughters, Morgan and Lindsey of Marshall, MN; her sister Jennifer Deutsch (Aaron) of Aberdeen, SD; her parents-in-law, Fred and Flo Hart of Britton, SD; her siblings-in-law, Patty Cabrera (Uli) of Denver, CO and Brett Hart (Melanie) of Pearisburg, VA; and her pets, Sunny and Pepper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, students, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (800 E Southview Ct, Marshall, MN 56258). A prayer was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
