We announce the death of Michael John Culhane of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 76. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Culhane and Frances Culhane (Fargen); and his sisters, Kate Garrow (Gordy), Patricia Culhane and Margaret "Peggy" Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hart of Marshall; his children, Tim Culhane (Katie) of Appleton, MN, Patrick Culhane (Kaila) of Marshall and Erin Bendzick (Mark) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Keegan, Gavin, Kyle, Ella, Callum, Fallyn and Eilley; his brothers, Jim Culhane (Marsha) and Terry Culhane (Sandy) of Marshall; and his brother-in-law Bryan Peterson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
