He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Doom and Margaret Doom (Cauwels); his father-in-law Wes Cuypers; his great grandchild Bralyn; his brother Francis; his brother-in-law Gary Grow; and his parents-in-law, Leona Cuypers, Ronnie Cuypers, Maydene Cuypers, Bonnie, Denis Matthys, Mary, Bernie Matthys and JoAnn Cuypers.
He is survived by : his children, Having, Steve (Deb) and John (Shelley) of Colorado Springs, CO; his son-in-law Corey; his wife Janet; his children, Paula Boerboom (Greg) and Pat (Dar); his grandchildren, Amanda Kline (Corey), John Doom (Hope), Alissa Otaigbe (Francis), Abbie Doom (Joe Bennett), Laurie Boerboom (Bryce Jensen), Mike Boerboom (Megan), Matt Boerboom (Emily), Zachary Doom, Mariah Doom (Dylan Benoit), Megan Swanson (Kyle), Kate Calderon (Saul), Sam Doom (Ayub Mohamed), Liz, Mary, Ellie and Isaiah Doom; and his sisters, Rosemary VanKeulen (Joe), Lorraine Tardy (Joe) and Marina Grow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Redeemer Church Foundation or Prairie Home Hospice.
