Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Edward Vroman of Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 89, on May 26, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Vroman and Idalie Vroman (Vercoutere); his wife Helen Louwagie; and his siblings, Mary Battle (Allen), Josephine Tillemans (Larry), Rosemary Herman (Joe) and Donald Vroman.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda (Dave Alexander), Dean (Alice), Tom (Linda Okins) and Jill (Bob Jacobson); his grandchildren, Daniel (Natasha), Jordyn, Tony, Jackie, Jen (Michael), Andrew (Courtney), Jared, Charlie and Rylee; his great grandchildren, Shoshana, Sawyer, Oliver, Colette and Bennet; and his sister-in-law Irma Vroman. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (200 Euclid St, Milroy, MN 56263). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church in Milroy or Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall.
