He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Else; and his sister Joyce Erickson (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Ilene (Liz); his sons, Christopher Hjelmberg, Nathan Hjelmberg (Anna) and Andrew Else (Blanca); his brother Butch Else (Edie); and his sister-in-law Sharon White (Herman Jr.). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North Branch American Legion Club (6439 Elm St, North Branch, MN 55056).
