He was predeceased by : his parents, William Stoks and Madeleine Stoks (Tramasseur); his son Steven Stoks; his siblings, Henry (Marie), Donald, Harold (Madonna), Margaret Cull (Lawrence), Frances Vanden Broecke (Cyril), Mary Van Hecke, Richard Stoks, William Stoks and Lorraine Coquyt-Goblish; and his brother-in-law Tom Cull.
He is survived by : his wife La Vonne of Marshall; his daughters, Diane Schwerin (Dave) of Wood Lake, Shannon Martinson (Chris) of Fridley and Nancy Busack (Jon) of Echo; his daughter-in-law Linda Stoks of Hoyt Lakes; his sister Dorothy Cull; and his in-laws, Rita Stoks, Francis Van Hecke and Jeanette Stoks. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
