He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Painter and Florence Painter (Einertson); and his siblings, Charles Painter, Ralph Painter and Janice Mendelsohn.
He is survived by : his brothers, Bud Painter, Stan Painter (Dorothy), Ray Painter (Donna) and Greg Painter (Cathy); his wife Michelle Painter; his children, Sandy Hardy (Allen), Sarah Lanand (Tyler) and Ryan Blanchette (Maggie); his grandsons, Andrew Colen, Christopher Hardy, Jonathan Hardy and Oliver Lanand; his great grandchild Ayana; and his close friend Craig Minett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
