He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Wandersee (Robert) of Aitkin, Marion Goetz of Norwood Young America and Carol Lahr of Watertown; and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Smerdon (Bob), Tracy Schafer (Denny), Tanya Mittelstaedt (Bill), Robert Grimm (Donna), Brenda Donaldson, Cheri Melchert (John), Cindy Lenz (Jeff), Robert Rutt (Yvette), Jeffrey Holsworth (Ann) and Jamie Joos (Nick). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (141 E 1st St, Waconia, MN 55387).
