He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Jopp and Irene Jopp (Schwalbe); and his parent-in-law Glenard (Dorothy Gatz). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Gatz; his children, Nathan Jopp (Kimberly) of Lester Prairie and Tracy Bates (Shawn) of Mayer; his grandsons, Adler Jopp, Taylor, Braeden and Tristan Bates; his siblings, Dale Jopp (Charlotte), Dennis Jopp (Nadine) and Lynette Pettit (Jerry); his brother-in-law Paul Gatz (Marilyn); and his close friends, Paul and Sue Yates. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
