We announce the death of Robert D. Carlson of Mayer, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 60. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd and Audrey Carlson; his father-in-law Ralph Unglaub; and his uncles, Kenny Carlson, Keith Carlson and Lloyd Jr. "Butch" Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Ford; his children, Matthew Carlson (Morgan) of Mayer, Jacob Carlson of Minot, ND, Branden Carlson (Mary Wenisch) of Watertown and Alexa Carlson of Cloquet; his mother Carol Carlson of Waconia; his aunts, Vickie Carlson of Hamburg and Debbie; his uncle Mike Kadlec of Mayer; his mother-in-law Karen Unglaub of Mayer; and his siblings-in-law, Michael, Jayne Unglaub of Watertown, Heidi and David Olsen of Mayer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
