He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Hintz; his children, Joseph Stifter (Marva) of Lakeville, Paul Stifter of Mayer, Mary Stifter (Todd Brunner) of St. Louis Park, Tom Stifter (Lori) of Mayer, Anne Nettleton (Kurt) of Hopkins and Laura Stifter of Mayer; his grandchildren, Joseph Stifter (Cortney), Matthew Stifter (Allison), Kayla Stifter, Zachary Stifter (Lauren), Kinsie Stifter, Dylan Stifter, Caitlin Haugen (Tony) and Paige Hennen; his great grandchildren, Kaylynn Stifter, Ashlynn Stifter, Brantley Stifter, Charleigh Stifter, Delany Stifter, Anna Haugen, Evelyn Haugen and Noah Haugen; and his siblings, Leonard Stifter (Betty) of Silver Lake, Veronica Stifter of Buffalo, Felix Stifter of Silver Lake, Gladys Hintz of Franklin, WI and Barbara Hintz of Oak Creek, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
