He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Goranson and Garnet Goranson (Stull); his siblings, Burt, Lee (Margaret) and Zelda; and his brother-in-law Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Bartholome) of Bellechester; his children, Brandon Goranson (Kerstin) and Haley Jacob (Alan); his grandchildren, Ava, Kashton, Phoebe, Brooks and Ellie; his siblings, Sherly Webster, Patti Goranson, Raymond Goranson (Cheryl), Yolie Donley (Russ), Linda Goranson, Debbie Carrier (Ken Dubriel), Sheila Albers (Dennis), Zola Harvey (Rod) and Dale Goranson (Mary); and his sister-in-law Nan Goranson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery (715 US-52, Preston, MN 55965). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 217 1st Ave N, Mazeppa, MN 55956.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Mazeppa Honor Guard.
