She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmore Nelson and Nora Nelson; her husband Alvin Fladhammer; her mother-in-law Annie Fladhammer; her siblings, Bertha, Annie, Ernest, Norman and Dorothy; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Nelson, Alice Nelson, Carolyn Nelson, Elmore Jacobson, Elmer Shaver and Gordon Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Duane and Daryl (Stephanie); her brother Adolf Nelson; her sister-in-law Helen Lee; her grandchildren, Shane Fladhammer, Elizabeth Fladhammer and Ally Fladhammer; and her great grandchildren, Saddie, Brooke and Miley Fladhammer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In 2016, she moved to Fair Meadow in Fertile with the beginnings of Alzheimer's and made friends with others and staff.
