He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Brua and Amanda Brua (Nordskog); his wife Joanne Salvhus; his son-in-law Ethan Weiby; and his siblings, Lorraine Ellingson, Bertha Suby, LeRoy, Robert and Duane.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Miciewicz (Daniel) of Kalispell, MT, Todd Brua of Thief River Falls, MN, Tiffany Weiby of Carpentersville, IL, Travis (Krischelle) of Lengby, MN and Tricia Brua of Gully, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Salvhus of Ada, MN, Sandy Salvhus of McIntosh and Mary Salvhus of McIntosh. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McIntosh Community Center (240 SW Cleveland Ave, McIntosh, MN 56556).
