It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Niehaus (Melrose, Minnesota), who passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Eveslage of King's Lake; his children, Ann Marie, Mary Jo (Mary), Thomas and Mark; his parents, Joseph Niehaus and Agnes Niehaus; and his siblings, Joseph, Ted, Alquin, Ed, Albie, Mae, Julie, Hildie, Sr., Inez, Sr., Venard and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne (Michael Howe), Anthony Jr. "Butch" (Mary), Bob (Deb), Allen (Sheryl Glebe), Julie Comfort (Jeff) and Jan Herke (Mick). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Mary's School Education Endowment Fund (https://my.onecause.com: c8e2c043-9c46-420e-8978-b999e348390f/friendly) or the Big Birch Lake Association.
