As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Messerich and Rose Messerich (Orth); his wife Arlene Messerich; and his sister-in-law Margaret Messerich. He is survived by: his children, Julie Johnson (Neal) of Waite Park, Gary Messerich (Jodi) of Eagan, Debbie Messerich of St. Cloud, David Messerich of Eagan, Kevin Messerich (Lynda) of Sauk Rapids and Randy Messerich of Alexandria; and his brother James Messerich of Melrose. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (755 E Kraft Dr, Melrose, MN 56352). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
