He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Massmann and Elizabeth Massmann (Eickhoff); his daughter Sarah; his siblings, Sandra Massmann, Jeanette Hoeschen (Warren), Joan Weyer (Rupert), Julius Massmann (Claris), Godfrey Massmann (Rita), Clarius "Larry" Massmann and Bill Massmann; and his son-in-law Alphonse "Al" Malley.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Massmann of Melrose; his children, Lorie Skwira (Ben) of Holdingford, Lynn Malley of Albany, Donna Roske (Randy) of Burtrum, Matthew Massmann (Rhesa) of Freeport, Joseph Massmann (Jamie) of Melrose and Joshua Massmann (DeeDee) of Sauk Centre; his siblings, Fred Massmann (Beatrice) of Sauk Centre and Mary Kremers (Clem) of Rockville; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Massmann of Sauk Rapids and Karen Massmann of Melrose. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, with one grandchild.
