Jeanette Hoppe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Hoppe of Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Thielen and Olivia Thielen (Humbert); her husband LeRoy Hoppe; and her siblings, Elmer Thielen, Marion Bonfig, Etta Pflipsen, Dorine LeClaire and Norbert Thielen.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Hoppe (Karen) of Big Lake, Shelly Wiechmann (Rick) of Melrose, Brenda Fontenot (Vern) of Montgomery, David Hoppe of Wasilla, Tim Hoppe of Freeport, Lisa Uphoff (Jeff) of Prior Lake and Joe Hoppe (Barb) of Freeport; her great grandchild Andy Dethmers; and her siblings-in-law, Gin Thielen of Sartell, Etheline Spanier of Paynesville, Mary Krueger (Dan) of New Munich and Rich Hoppe of New Munich. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (650 Main St, New Munich, MN 56356). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
