She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Middendorf and Loretta Middendorf (Toenyan); her husband Jerome Butkowski; her daughter-in-law Joanne Butkowski; and her siblings, Walter, Conrad, Wilfred, Edward, Arlene Arnzen and Viola Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Butkowski of Melrose, Ron Butkowski (Terry) of Melrose, Shirley Dahle (Kevin) of Apple Valley, Jerry Butkowski (Janet) of Freeport, Lisa Wiechmann (Allan) of Melrose and Lori Leach (Ron) of Sauk Centre; her siblings, Lornie Middendorf of New Munich, Kathy Thomas (Kenny) of Melrose, Harriet Froelich of Melrose and David Middendorf (Jan) of Grey Eagle; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Middendorf of Melrose and Sonja Middendorf of Sauk Centre. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (755 E Kraft Dr, Melrose, MN 56352). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
