Maureen Luetmer Obituary
The memory of Maureen Luetmer (Melrose, Minnesota), who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Al Luetmer; her children, Mary Frances Monroe (Rod), Robert Gerard Luetmer (Amy) and Ted Luetmer; her grandson Franklin C. Luetmer; her son-in-law Stephen Pawlenty; her parents, Hubert Heinen and Rosalia Heinen; and her sisters, Dorothy Heinen, Rita Toenies (Cel), Arlene Moening (Ken) and Doris Hazuka (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Rose Pawlenty of Monticello, MN, Martin Luetmer (Linda) of Belle Plaine, MN, Tony Luetmer (Sheri) of Meire Grove, MN, Patricia Luetmer of San Diego, CA and Lois Luetmer of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church (20 MN-4, Melrose, MN 56352). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the charity of your choice or honor her memory by sharing a story (Maureen believed that everyone has a story), creating something beautiful, or spending time with those you love—just as she did every day.
