He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Atkinson and Delphine Atkinson (Mader); and his siblings, Sheila Madeson, Bradley and Todd (Dean Atkinson).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph, Jennifer, Isaiah Atkinson and Mason Maxson; his grandchildren, Alex, Graci, Makayla, Brynnleigh, Wyatt, Landon, Serenity, Courage and Jakob; his brothers, Edward T. (Jackie) and Thomas Atkinson; his brother-in-law Harlan Madeson; and his friends, Lucas, Cynthia Peifer and Ashley Ostrander.
