Violet Fern Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Fern of Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on May 27, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Vos and Mary Vos (Rakotz); her husband Richard Fern; and her brothers, Vernon, Jerome and Gilbert Vos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Schauer (Ron) of Gilroy, Karen Pfau (Pat) of Freeport and Nancy Salzl (Steve) of Avon; and her siblings, Arnold Vos and Alice Ripka. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the CentraCare Care Center in Long Prairie.
