She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Haverinen and Lydia Haverinen (Leinenon); her husband Vern; her siblings, Leona Haverinen, Edna Berttunen (Robert), Elaine Skoog (Walter), Lillian Lustila, Dorothy Hillukka (Ray), Clifford, Edwin, Leonard and Authur Haverinen; and her brother-in-law Rodney Salmen.

She is survived by: her siblings, Elsie Salmen of Menahga, MN and Douglas Haverinen (MaryAnn) of Menahga, MN; and her sister-in-law MaryAnn Haverinen of Menahga, MN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
