He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Mavis Lee. He is survived by: his wife Robin Lynn Krantz; his sons, Joel (Emily), Neal (Jill), Jesse (Megan) and Aaron (Kate); his siblings, Linda Picazio (Tom), Nancy Mathis (Dale), Jeannie Gross (Mark), Rick Krantz (Joan) and Douglas Krantz (Kim); and his parents-in-law, Galen and Verna Krantz. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers and to honor his legacy, a memorial fund has been established for Camp Nathanael in Hinckley, Minnesota, a rustic, Christian boys camp where John first accepted the Lord and gained his love of carpetball.
