She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Walther and Marcella Walther (Handorff); her husband Russell Akerson; her sons, Alan and Kevin Kirckof; her brother Charles; her granddaughter Aleshia Greenwaldt; her sons-in-law, Gary Odland and Jeff Greenwaldt; her parents-in-law, Birger and Winnifred Akerson (Oslund); and her close friend Stan Sakkinen.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Kirckof (Kara) of Brooten, Tammy Odland (Gene) of Browerville, Kurt Kirckof (Yvette) of Sauk Centre, Brad Kirckof (Kristie) of Sauk Centre and Tanya Akerson (Marwin) of New London. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; along with extended family.
