He is survived by: his friend Jim Allen; his wife Kathy Mathison (Brossard); his children, Katie Hanson (Dave), Chad Mathison (Janelle), Jamie (ChrisAnne Richards) and Carrie Ackerman (Gabe); his grandchildren, Reese, Gavin, Jocelyn, Ella, Ollie, Alice, Adler and Nash; and his sisters, Pat Lapinoja (Lonnie) and Jan Walsh (Mike).
