It is with sadness that the passing of Augustus Jeter Hipp of Mendota Heights, Minnesota is shared. Augustus, born on June 3, 1928, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Primus Hipp and Mary Hipp; and his brother Seale. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fisher Hipp; his children, Christopher (Karina) of Marine, MN, Stephen (Daniela) of Front Royal, VA and Ann Loomis (Paul) of Stillwater, MN; and his sister Betty of Vero Beach, Florida.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter (1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, St Paul, MN 55150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450). A burial will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are welcome in the name of Augustus Hipp to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, MN.
