He is survived by: his siblings, Andrew Schindler (Joni) of Warroad, Minnesota, Patty Piché (Roger), Joan Dodds of Richland, Washington, Michael Schindler (Jackie) of West Fargo, Daniel Schindler (Carolyn) of Greenbush, Minnesota, Karen Theroux (Brian) of Princeton, Minnesota, Linda Rivard (Bill) of Baudette, Minnesota and Darrell Schindler (Rachel) of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (112 Edward St NE, Red Lake Falls, MN 56750).
