He is survived by: his wife Erma Brekkestran of Middle River; his children, Lou Ann Dahl of Karlstad, MN, Donavon Dahl (Laura) of Middle River, MN, Lorrie Peterson (Darrin) of Warroad, MN and Tammie Hetland (Russ) of Warroad, MN; his grandchildren, Hilary (Nick), Morgan Ness (Alan), Mike Peterson (Stephanie), Jacquelyn Peterson, Alan Peterson (Mandy Boyle), Amy Grover (Jim), Tammy Hetland (Xue Pha) and Brady Hetland (Jorie Shaugabay); his great grandchildren, Hazel, Hank and Ihla; his grandchildren, Holland, Hutton, Sage Ness, Oliver, Philip Streiff and Juliette Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Lian, Galen Brekkestran (Sharon), Dwight Brekkestran (Pat), Marvel Dahl, Arlette Majer (Laurel), Bonnie Ward (Ron), Lynnell Talmage and Dora Brekkestran.
