She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Harold, Joan Peterson, Richard and Clare Bruggeman; her aunt Patty Peterson; and her uncles, Mark Peterson and Tim Bruggeman.
She is survived by: her parents, Therese Peterson and Scott Peterson; her siblings, Diana Blumhorst (Jon), Nicole Zila and Douglas Peterson (Lexie); her nephews, Hudson, Bridger Blumhosrt, Izaac Henry, Miles and Miller Peterson; and her niece Mallory Peterson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kitchi Gammi Park (Congdon Blvd, Duluth, MN 55804). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spruce Vally Community Center (250 Hill Ave, Middle River, MN 56737).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solvay Hospice House, Duluth MN in memory of Megan.
