Dorothy Gorecki Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Gorecki of Milaca, Minnesota, born in Williston, North Dakota, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorothy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benedict Gorecki; her children, Sandra Gorecki, Steven Gorecki, Mary Rahm and Kate Gorecki (Barbara); and her son-in-law Ray Locher.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Locher of Cold Spring. She is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (645 3rd Ave SE, Milaca, MN 56353). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House or CentraCare Hospice.
