We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2025, at the age of 94, Elroy Hanenburg of Milaca, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Elroy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Elroy has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Hanenburg and Margaret Hanenburg (Bouma); his former wife Norma Boyer; his wife Darlene Hubers; his brothers, Gerald and Stan Hanenburg (Greta); and his son-in-law Mark Drangstveit.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Koppendrayer (Les) of Mankato, Beth Hanenburg (Olaf Mjelde) of San Diego, CA, Lori Drangstveit (Billy Boxwell) of St. Francis and Curt Hanenburg (Sharon) of Milaca; and his stepdaughter Debbie Fore (Darrell) of St. Michael. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
