It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richter of Milaca, Minnesota, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Ted Richter; his parents-in-law, Milton and Rose Chlan; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his friend Paul Berg; his wife Barb (Chlan) of Milaca; his sons, Christopher of Milaca and Ryan (Leah) of Redondo Beach, CA; and his granddaughter Maris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (735 2nd St SE, Milaca, MN 56353). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
