She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Mertz and Dorothea Mertz (Baer); her sister Phyllis; her brother-in-law Kenneth Geisler; and her siblings, Eleanor Gab, Ellina Barth, Rollie Mertz, Quentin Mertz, Allen Mertz, Ella Schneider and Donald Leidholdt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stacy Atkins (Corey Frericks) and Samantha Banta (Joshua Hutchens); her grandchildren, Isabella (Collin), Paige, Destiny (Jade), Noah, Liberty, Cody, Amelia, Sebastian and Colten; and her siblings, Adam Mertz, Margaret Thompson, Don Mertz and Bob Leidholdt. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
