Mary Ellen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary Ellen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary Ellen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Claussen and Marjorie Claussen (Yackley); her husband Larry Ziemann; her daughter Nancy; her grandson Stephen Mervine; and her sister Alice Witte.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Ziemann (Marko Vorkapich) of Azle, TX, Cindy Madden of Arvada, CO and Ted Ziemann (Lori) of Appleton, MN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kviteseid Lutheran Church (308 N 3rd St, Milan, MN 56262). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
