It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Uhde of Miltona, Minnesota, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Uhde and Hildegard Uhde (Luedeke); his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Schackel and Sandy Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Kristine "Kris" Baardsen (Kevin Challes) of Brandon and Aaron Uhde of Miltona; his sisters, Linda Schackel and Karen Adensam (Nick); his brothers-in-law, Dan Cooper (Lynn) and Terry Cooper; and his nephews, Jason Cooper, Kelly Cooper, Chad Cooper, Andrew Schackel and Joe Adensam. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation (https://www.parkinson.org) or Hospice of Douglas County.
