She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Funk and Beatrice Funk (Rademacher); her husband Tom Ecker; her brother Cel Funk; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Phillips, Mel Kammers and Elaine Funk.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi Wrede (Chris) of New Hope, Aaron Ecker (Lori) of Alexandria, Carl Ecker (Melissa) of Chanhassen, Gretta Eder (Brian) of Lake Elmo and Megan Stern (Dan) of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren, Logan Meyers, Emma, Owen, Noah Ecker, Charlie, Nora Wrede, Georgia, Frankie Lou Ecker, Beatrice, Pearl Eder, Scottie and Tommy Stern; and her siblings, Art Funk (Kay), Ken Funk, Ron Funk (Carol), Fran Funk, Vic Funk (Patty), Mary Ann Kammers, Dorine Ebel (Allen), Rita Scherping (Roger), Rene Pierskalla (Tom) and Marlene Altendahl (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated for cancer research and local oncology support.
