She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Schuler and Betty Lou Schuler. She is survived by: her brother Phillip Schuler; her children, Ariane Ackerberg (Allison Ramsey) and Sam Ackerberg; her grandson Jack Ackerberg-Ramsey; her pets, Gus and Ping; her niece Nova Wightman; and her cousin Sima Perry.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring the life of Ann Schuler-Ackerberg may be made to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and Children's Theatre Company.
