He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Johnson and Nicholas Johnson; his wife Sharon Johnson; and his siblings, Norman Johnson, Norma Morehead, Glenn Dzombar, DeLaine Palmer, Nicholas Johnson and Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Longfellow, Jean Pearson (Jerry), Gary, Jayne Atkinson (D. Scott), Gordon (Evonne) and Joan; and his close friends, Tim, Jayna and Joe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Minnesota Military Family Foundation.
