Aribert Munzner Obituary

The memory of Aribert Munzner of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Aribert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Aribert leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Ralph and Bertha (Schliferowitsch); and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his daughters, Naomi (Sheila Oehrlein) of Minneapolis and Tamara of Vancouver, BC; and his sister-in-law Fay Cumber of St. Louis Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Aribert and Joan Munzner Scholarship Fund at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
